Salvete Quirites!
I would like to open this thread for a public discussion of the citizen rings. The topic is too important to leave it to the Senate alone, since it affects everyone.
The shipping price seems too high due to the simple fact that it is shipped twice, first from the manufacturer to our distribution office, then from the distribution office to the citizen.
We can cut this cost into half, when we ship straight from the manufacturer to the citizen. payment can be done to the Republic, then the Censor pays in bulk to the manufacturer and passes them the design details and the delivery address to the citizen. Shipping it to the distribution office of the Republic first and repacking it fulfills no purpose.
I would also like an explanation of the pictures on the ring. What do they mean? Which picture is for which citizen?
How is the ring used? Which side has to be worn on the outside? If we seal something with it, is it to be used like a roll seal or only with the picture or the nomen on the downside?
Valete!
