Salvete, Auguste et omnibus!
Following is my entry into the literary contest. It is a poem to the Magna Mater in Latin and English. Ideally, the Latin and English should be side by side, but I was not able to transmit it in that format with the proper spacing so the English is below.
Valete!

Veneratio
O Cybele, O Magna Mater,
noli nos orbem terrarum desere!
In hoc tempore molestia egemus te.
O Mater Deorum,
noli nos patriam, nos urbem relinquere!
Mane ut veneremur te, ut laudemus te.
O Mater,
noli nos de tua tutela excutere!
Complexus, vis, numen tui opus est.
O incolamus tua templa in perpetuum!
O Cybele, O Great Mother,
do not forsake our world!
In this troublesome time, we need you.
O Mother of the Gods,
do not abandon our fatherland, our city!
Stay, so that we may praise you, worship you.
O Mother,
do not cast us away from your protection!
Your embrace, your strength, your divinity is vital.
O that we may forever dwell in your temple!
