Edictum Propraetoris - a.d. III Kalendas Februarias MMDCCLV

EX DOMO PROPRAETORIS PROVINCIAE LACUUM MAGNORUM EDICTUM PROPRAETORIS

Effective ante diem III Kal. FEBRVARII MMDCCLV a.u.c. (30 January 2002), I, Marcus Scipio Africanus, Propraetor of the Provincia Lacus Magni, issue this edict.

1. The Provincia of Lacus Magni shall recognize Minerva as our Patron Deity. May she bring us wisdom and guidance as we work to build our Provincia.



2. The Provincia of Lacus Magni shall adopt a Provincial Bird. This bird shall be the Owl which is indiginous to our provincia, and serves as a symbol of wisdom.



3. The Provincia of Lacus Magni shall adopt a Provincial Flower. This flower shall be Morning Glory, which grows wild throughout the provincia.



4. The Provincia of Lacus Magni shall adopt a Provincial Anthem. The anthem shall be Titus Victorious.



5. The Provincia of Lacus Magni shall adopt a Provincial Tree. This tree shall be the Silver Oak, also indiginous to our region. The Silver Oak represents strength and the ancient ties Nova Roma shares with Romana Antiquitas.

Addendum

IV. (Addendum to EX DOMO PROPRAETORIS PROVINCIAE LACUUM MAGNORUM EDICTUM V, Item II: The Provincia of Lacus Magni shall adopt a Provincial Bird. This bird shall be the Owl which is indigenous to our provincia, and serves as a symbol of wisdom.) To specify, the Owl shall be the Great Horned Owl.
