L. Livius prae. circ. omnibus in Circo s.p.d.

Kostas crosses the finish line to capture first place! He is the champion of this year's ludi Romani!

Behind the victorious Green, his fellow Prasini have formed a line in the middle of the track. Galen leads the pack, with Makarios close behind as ever. Diocles has now woven around Nestor, and is harrying Makarios' heels! There's still time left in this race for Diocles to steal a prize for himself in the final turn!

Galen crosses the finish line for the place, but this race is far from over yet!

Diocles sneaks past Makarios in the outside lane through the turn! There's precious little room for such a maneuver, however, and their chariots collide! Diocles bounces off his opponent with little wear to show for it, but another of Makarios' steeds is thrown under the wheels! Still, Makarios refuses to surrender this close to victory. Both chariots are headed for the linea alba, neck-and-neck, furiously lashing the reins to snatch third place!

Diocles attempts one final cut ahead of Makarios, but the bloodied, enraged Green refuses to yield! Makarios is savage with the reins, and crosses a mere hand's width ahead of Diocles, claiming third place in this championship race!

Makarios is followed swiftly by Diocles, and then Nestor. Petrus eventually rounds the final turn and closes the lists.

Green fans throughout the Circus run riot as their factio claims all three of the purses, and undisputed victory in these final moments of the ludi Romani!
